Great stay! Everything was as described. The pool area was fantastic! There were beach chairs, umbrella, and a cooler which made going to the beach a breeze. We had everything we needed for our group of 6.

What a beautiful home! We spent the majority of our time on the second level porch watching the boats, planes and wildlife. The entire community is well maintained and we enjoyed the pool, fishing off the docks and just hanging out around the house. The hosts were so kind and helpful throughout our stay!

Indigo Reef – Fabulous get away! What they say in their listing but better! Very clean, plenty of space for 2 couples. The property has a fabulous pool! Very close to beaches and many good restaurants! An hour away from Key West. Walk the 7 mile bridge (4 miles). So fun, so relaxing! Great communication with Mario & Louders. We will be back!

We had a great stay! The Airbnb was beautiful. We loved the multiple balconies which were a perfect safe outdoors space for our little ones (3.5 and 1.5). The balconies were completely closed off by barriers so safe for them to play without concerns about nearby water. The pool was well heated and the girls could swim even in February. The neighborhood is not really walkable which was a bummer but not the fault of the Airbnb. Short drive to Sombrero beach (perfect small Beach with a playground for young families), Rotary park playground, the and the turtle hospital. Many restaurants nearby on marathon. I would recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about this space. I’ve stayed in so many Airbnbs all over the world and this was an exceptional stay that was perfect for our family of five in an outstanding location!

We loved our stay at indigo. Reef at Lourdes and Mario’s lovely home. We especially enjoyed the lower and upper porches that we enjoyed our coffee in the morning, reading during the day, and a cocktail in the evening! We loved walking in the area, experienced many of the fantastic restaurants, enjoyed the pool, wildlife, boating, and especially the sunsets! Many thanks and much appreciated.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Lourdes and Mario’s beautiful condo. I love the view in mornings and the sunsets in the back balcony. This is our third time staying in Indigo Reef and this villa has been the prettiest, fully remodeled and loved the furniture and colors, specially the light system. Even though you are not on the canal, you have to walk a little to the boat slip, is worth every minute, the view is beautiful and they just remodeled the deck around the canal so it makes the walk easy, just bring a cart to carry all the fishing stuff. The home was super clean, comfortable, and completely stock for a week stay. Lourdes and Mario left us a great personalized welcome basket with a binder with helpful suggestions on things to see and do in Marathon. They were also extremely fast and responsive to all our questions. Definitely is little piece of paradise close to home!! We hope to go back next year!! Thank you for everything!

Beautifully renovated villa in IR.

This place is a slice of heaven. We were greeted with a personal note and welcome basket, beach chairs in great condition waiting on the porch, and even a cooler. The house is perfectly appointed, modern beach farmhouse, and perfect for our group of 5. The kitchen has some pots and pans, but bring your spices if you want to cook. The master bedroom is beautiful, and we spent many evenings just watching the sunset from the porch. Cute beach community with brand new docks, beautiful pool, and amazing views. My boys fished off the rocks and caught a shark! Marathon has so much to offer. The Turtle Hospital was great. Stuffed pig tiki area for breakfast. Burdines for dinner. We saw an amazing full rainbow. Take the time to visit the Crane Point Hammock, and you can call and book the trolly to learn some history and visit the inside of the house.

Stayed with kids Our family had a fantastic stay at Lourdes and Mario’s beautiful condo. The home was spotless, comfortable, and well stocked. Lourdes and Mario left us a great welcome basket along with helpful suggestions on things to see and do in Marathon. They were also extremely responsive to our questions. In addition to all the fun activities that we did in the Florida Keys, we really appreciated coming back to our “home”. We enjoyed playing games (thank you for Rummikub!) in the living room and spent many mornings/evenings relaxing on the deck. Definitely an amazing stay and we hope to come visit again soon!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Mario and Lourdes’s home. The grounds and pool were beautiful, enjoyed walking the property and docks every day. Inside the home was clean, excellent condition, and just as described. The patio was a great spot to relax and overlook the water. The beach chairs, beach towels, and cooler came in very handy as we went to the beach daily. We noted the tub to drain quite slow on the first day, Mario and Lourdes were very responsive and had their contractor address the issue same day, which we greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend this home for your next vacation. Was an hour from Key West, and plenty to do in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay and loved this little nit of paradise. The house was well kept and everything ran well. We had a wonderful view and the owners really made the experience wonderful.

First time visit to Marathon. My family and I stayed at the Seaside Escape. The villa had everything we needed . It was very clean, and the kitchen had everything for cooking meals so we didn’t really eat out much. I loved sitting on the back deck while the kids went fishing on the canal pier. The pool was so nice and was only a quick walk from the home . Beach towels and chairs were available for our use. The owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with . Would definitely recommend Seaside Escape.

Loved staying at this property. Lourdes and Mario have a beautiful villa and have so many extra touches to make your stay perfect. The villa was super clean and I highly recommend it.

Wow! A++ Property & Hosts Holy Cow! The property was spectacular. It was immaculately clean when we arrived, and the townhouse is gorgeous. It’s very spacious and updated all around. Chairs, couches and beds are very comfortable. The 3 bedrooms all access very nice decks, and there’s a large deck off of the main level facing the water. Fantastic place to watch the sunsets. The hosts were probably the most accommodating and gracious that I’ve run across. They contacted us several times to see what they could do to help us enjoy our vacation, and even offered to send the cleaning crew back out if we found anything that needed tending to (we didn’t – – everything was perfect). The hosts were very responsive to emails and/or texts, and I really had the impression that they wanted everything to go perfect for us. They seem like very nice people. Don’t think twice about booking this property – you won’t regret it. It’s probably in one of the better locations of all the units. Most of the units face a common courtyard where the docks and pool is located, this one (along with a strip of 5-6 others) is much more private and sits off from the rest. Parking is right in front of the unit. I usually find at least some small negative things to mention in a review, but I honestly have nothing negative to say about the property or the hosts. I’d rate it higher than perfect if there were such a thing.

The Key to a Dream Vacay Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We were very comfortable with the accommodations, well, actually spoiled explains it better! The thoughtful conveniences spread around the house really took this stay to the next level. I can’t overstate it! The property and pool were devine, beautiful sunsets! The ocean is beautiful, the food delicious, and the people of Marathon were very friendly. We will definitely be back! Places we ate: breakfast – Stouts, lunch/supper – Porky’s, Island Fish Co., Lazy Days South, Moon Dogs (Key West) We visited: Curry Hammock and Bahia Honda St. Parks, Key West, 7 Mile Bridge, Coffins Patch, Samantha’s Reef We rented kayaks from Keys Kayaks for the week. We also did “Dive in a Day” and snorkeling with Captain Hooks.

Stunning house, perfect location, great hosts! We had the most wonderful stay at this fabulous house. The property is beautifully furnished to a very high spec and is so clean throughout, loads of space and really well equipped. It really takes your breath away when you arrive. The location is awesome too – we loved Marathon and Indigo Reef (the lovely pool and boat dock are a huge plus) and the actual location of the house is arguably one of the best on the site. The terrace from the living room looks out to stunning sunsets over the sea – so we enjoyed some super dinners ‘at home’. And the review would not be complete without a shout to Mario and Lourdes’ wonderful hospitality – they went out of their way to make us feel at home, even leaving a welcome hamper and fresh flowers. Communication was great, but not intrusive (including great recommendations on boat rental and restaurants) – we were so grateful for all their help. If we could give this property 10 stars instead of 5, honestly we would – having rented through VRBO and others for many years, this is one of our best experiences. Huge thanks to Mario and Lourdes for a fabulous vacation.
